Vaieh: Now Corina. One of the main things in flirting is paying attention. You have to make eye contact most of the time for a guy to get the message. Don't be surprised if Vincent asks if you're flirting with him.
Bhudo: Yeah. We tend to look at things differently. We put a more agressive spin on things. We don't always get it right away. A guy like Vincent might or might not ask. Better if he doesn't. Less embarrassing for both of you.
Tai'an: The other main thing is not to take it too seriously. If you do , you can't relax and have fun. That's what flirting really is all about. It let's you express your interest in a fun and relaxed way.
Si'or: It also lets you get to know the person you're flirting with a little better. You know Corina, you've probably been flirting without even realising it. Cute things like pouting playfully when he says something or wiping food off his face with a finger then tasting it. That kind of thing is flirting to us even if we don't say it.
Tai'an: If a guy does ask if you're flirting with him, and this is what you're doing, either toss your hair or brush it back a bit. Then look him straight in the eye with a small smile and say "Why yes" and look down a bit, then look right back up into his eyes with the same small smile. Brushing it back a little like this draws his attention to your face. If you're not flirting with him do the same thing and say, "No. Would you like me to?"
Si'or: Twirling a bit of hair around your finger while talking is cute too. Tai'an has a tendency to twirl my hair around her finger. I like when a woman looks up at me from under her lashes. Makes me wonder what she's thinking or what she's about to do next. Standing or sitting close is good too. So is touching lightly or lightly leaning into me. Let's me know that she's comfortable with me and my body odor is in check.
*all laugh*
Vaieh: Give him a head-to-toe look. Do it slowly.
Vaieh: When you get back to the top, nod your approval, then flash him you most winning smile. Let him see that smile in your eyes. After all this is Vincent you'll be looking at. Nothing to not like there. Let him know you like what you see. If he asks you if he looks ok, simply smile and say " You'll do."
Vaieh: Invite him to give you his arm. Turn away after answering him. Walk literally, a couple of steps away, and stop. Look over your shoulder and smile at him. If he doesn't step forward and offer you his arm to lean on he's either still dazzled or no gentleman.
Bhudo: Most of the time we're pretty stunned so we might forget. Just turn away again and stand still. The gentleman in us wakes up when we can't see the smile. He'll want to see that smile again so be sure he'll offer that arm so he can.
Tai'an: If you're going to have music during dinner, keep it turned down pretty low. That way you can try whisper flirting. This is best when you're dancing but you can do it at the table too. Whispering encourages closeness. At the table you have to lean towards each other to hear. This encourages touching or holding hands.
Si'or: If he asks why you are whispering, whisper to him that you don't want the walls to hear. That oughta make him smile too.
*peals of laghter*
Vaieh: Find a reason to dance. It's better if he asks but it's not wrong if you say you want to. Simply ask" Would you dance with me?" pick a slow song to dance to. You want to be close to him. This give you more opportunity to whisper.
Bhudo: Try to look at his eyes when you whisper. Guys don't like having to search for your face when you talk to them. Also we can't hear what you're saying.
Si'or: When you whisper though we lean into you more. That's a good time to put your hands on his shoulders or lightly around his neck. Don't drape yourself all over him. You'll be sending the wrong message. You want to flirt not go to bed.
He might think you're sleepy or drunk.
Bhudo: We like to do things like smell your hair or inhale your perfume if you're close enough. Doesn't hurt if bodies are touching at this point. by that time you should be comfortable enough for it. Again you don't have to say anything specific. Talk about the weather or anything you two normally talk about.
All: DO NOT TALK ABOUT LOCKE!!!
Vaieh: Talking about ther men kills the mood. Talk about Locke some other time.
Si'or: That goes for Luis, Xerxes and any other man you know. Only talk about them if he mentions them first.
Tai'an: And only for a short minute or so. Don't let them become the center of your conversation, even if that means you run out of things to say. It's cute to say something like " I can't think of anything else to say." As long as both of you can laugh about it.
Vaieh: Well Corina. That's pretty much it. There's not a whole lot more to do except be yourself, relax and have fun. It's not like you don't know Vincent, so having fun with him should be easy. You'll still be nervous but talk about normal things thet the two of you share at first, and things should roll smoothly from there.
