Odette: *stares intently at Cami, sleeping in her mother's arms*
Cora: Do you like her Odette?
Ophelia: *holds up her toy, ready to share with the baby*
Odette: She looks like a weakling..
Cora: *giggles* Well not everyone is quite as strong as you Odette...
Ophelia: *silent but smiles as she hears Cami stir, cooing, and then giggles and clings more tightly to her stuffed monster*
Sparrow: *sits on the bed, staring at the baby as well* She's so small...
Jani: Does this mean Cami is like my little sister since you are sort of like my mommy, Cora?
Cora: *very happy* Yes Jani... you are a big sister now <3
V: *calls in from the doorway* Hey you guys.. come and eat dinner is done. Let Cora get a little rest allright?
Jani: Okay~! *herds Odette and Ophelia out of the room*
Sparrow: *holds his pendant close to his chest as he watches Cora with Cami, lingering for the moment, listening to it make a very soft chiming noise*
Sparrow: It's ringing...
Cora: What does it mean, Sparrow?
Sparrow: Don't know... my mom gave it to me... before she died... so I don't know what it's for.... but it reminds me of her...
Cora: *sadly* Oh... Oh Sparrow..
Sparrow: *perking up* I'm hungry~ I'm going to go eat! *rushes off to the kitchen*
Pegasus: I saw a little herd of children~ Are you feeling okay?
Croquet: *wanders in behind Pegasus, still silent, a look of worry and discomfort on his face*
Pegasus: Is this the little bundle of joy? Little Cami?
Cora: *looks confused* Who else do you think you would be?
Pegasus: *chuckles* Oh Miss Cora.
Cora: Would you like to hold her?
Pegasus: *takes the baby into his arms* Oh, she seems so very healthy! Miss Cora, you are amazing.
Cora: *giggles* You’re silly.
Pegasus: *smiles* I’m glad you’re both okay, I truly am.
Pegasus: *strokes the baby’s hair looking fondly at it*
Cora: I’m glad you are so enamored with her… she seems to be very fond of you as well.
Pegasus: *looks a little distraught* I’m… glad it looks that way to you.
Pegasus: I honestly regret that I have to go back and run my company... and leave you two alone here…
Cora: *smiles* I understand… We have lots of people here that will take care of us. I know that you are very busy, I’m glad we’ve had this time together… and that you care enough to want to stay.
Pegasus: … Sometimes I wish I never started my company. *starts to rant his horrible life and never has a life because he’s too busy making [s]children’s card games[/s] money*
Cora: …. Well that’s interesting. *turns to Croquet* Would you like to hold her? You are her grandfather after all…
Croquet: *silent for a long moment* …. Miss Cora, I cannot even fathom how you could ask me something like that so casually after the horrible atrocities I have committed against you.
Cora: What do you mean? I forgave you then instant I realized that it wasn’t you… I don’t have any bad feelings towards you.
Croquet: Miss Cora… I don’t normally let my emotions get the best of me… but I think I’m going to cry.
Cora: *looks down* Please don’t cry… I adopted you as my father... you will always be that to me, and I will always love you.
Croquet: *stares at Cami in awe, looking at her tiny, fragile form*
Croquet: *continues to stare intensely at the baby*
Pegasus: You must forgive my dear Christopher, he doesn’t see babies very often.
Croquet: *suddenly horrified at Cami’s spontaneous outburst of loud wailing*
Pegasus: Perhaps she doesn’t favor your moustache Christopher. You know, the Santa Claus complex…
Cora: *looks confused at what Pegasus’ said, then giggles* No I don’t think she’s afraid of you, I think she’s probably hungry.
Cora: *takes Cami back, trying to hush her by gently rocking her back and forth* I’m going to feed her now, if you’re uncomfortable with that you should probably leave.
Croquet: *gets up immediately, leaving the room*
Pegasus: *chuckles softly*
Cora: *begins to nurse her baby* She is really a funny thing… it’s hard to believe that I made a little person… *begins to look a little serious* X… is really pleased with her…
Pegasus: Your little succubus friend told me about this X person. I’ve decided that it would probably be best if I just remain behind the scenes… if you ever need anything, I will pay for it. I will care for you in your time of need if you need it… *sadly* It breaks my heart… but X is more available to father your child…
Pegasus: I just want her to have a family that can be there for her when she truly needs it… unlike my own.
Cora: Oh Mr. Pegasus… I don’t know what to think about all of this…
Cora: I want what is best for her too… but… I don’t want to exclude you from her life.
Cora: *reaches out to take Pegasus’ hand* I want her to be able to see you often… even if that means we must travel.
Pegasus: I don’t want you to be uprooted constantly, I want you and this child to have a stable, nurturing life. I will be there… in my own subtle way – and of course I will visit.
Pegasus: Just promise me that you will take care of her to the best of your ability, always.
Cora: Of course… I love her very much, more then anything.
Pegasus: *smiles, reaching out to stroke Cami’s pale hair* …..Thank you.
Cora: Isn’t she sweet?
Pegasus: *smiles and nods*
