Tai: Hi Luis sweetie, it's been an aweful long time since we've chatted. Of course I know some of that is my fault, I was very harsh with you the last time I sent one, and maybe even a bit scary. But I've decided that if the Pink Princess can forgive you it would be wrong of me not to as well.

Besides, I expect living with that daughter of hers is going to be punishment enough for several lifetimes.


Tai: I can just hear your question. Why am I wearing a dress? Well, I figured that surrounded as you are by girly girls and girly men who wear drag, you might be more comfortable with me this way. What could be less threatening to someone's masculinity, than a gay man in a dress?


Tai: *making his voice a little husky* Just think of me as one of the girls, sweetie.


Tai: May I say that I approve of the new hairdo. It makes you look much more the mature man and much less the reject from a beatnick farm.

But, Luis, darling, what is this I hear that you are STILL doing tech manuals??? Honestly sweetheart, what is holding you up??? Or perhaps holding you down would be the more proper phrase?


Tai: Of course your editor, Mr. Von Rot isn't much of one to talk, given as he can't even manage to tell a woman if he loves her or not after five years of thinking about it - but I expected something better of you.

I mean, talk about ultimate insults - I've been told that Pegasus fruit said he ENJOYS reading your current works. Luis - that man is a nut! A compliment from him is like the ultimate condemnation of the rest of mankind! What kind of freak enjoys reading tech manuals???


Tai: Tell me that you haven't spent the last five years moping in your room, scribbling in notebooks and changing absolutely nothing in your life except your haircut and your underwear? Darling you'll never write a novel that way.


Tai: And it's not as if that place you live in has been stagnant! I mean Deities Luis - not only is that little demon Camilla now running rampant they've added a big "Here be Dragons" sticker to that place's location on local maps!!! How you manage to stay so miserably, depressingly, boringly normal there is probably one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of the universe!


Tai: Luis, sweetie, open those enormous eyes of yours and peel away the illegally dark window tinting you've put over them. If you don't start embracing the realities around you and letting them become part of you then creativity will ellude you forever. It's nothing I haven't told you before, but you obviously stll haven't let yourself believe it.


Tai: Stop being so afraid, Luis. Fear is stopping your creativity the way it stopped you from telling Cora the truth so long ago and the way it made you run away.


Tai: And if you don't start putting out some writing other than tech manuals, Luis, I may just have to come out there and personally take you in hand...who knows, you might even like it...
