Hello Vaieh. By now you know something is wrong. Fate is hurt. Our youngest hatchlings have proven themselves to be powerful and instinctive healers. Young Hayan is to be the next Archer of Life but his new powers are not yet readyfor the task of holding Fate to us. I am not sure about Miere. Her power remains hidden from us. Iolaus, however, has proven to be a powerful soul shredder and mender. His twin is the Rose Incarnate. Even young Iihayi has proven to have strong healing abilities.
Important as this might be, there are more important matters to consider. I know you are aware of Fate's soulcall. He has been allowed to do this his own way...at his own pace.
We will not intefere......yet. If the time comes .......we will either intervene or call his Sword. Curiously, I am reluctant to force his obedience.
My Fate......he is so much stronger than we knew. Even so he hasn't much time left Narcissus. We need to find his soucall and soon. He is not telling us who she is. The fact that he knows and is trying to pull her to him is enough for him but not for me. I cannot call an Elder until I know who she is.
Since he is Fate I cannot push him or pull it from him against his will. He and Destiny are much too important to Gaer to take the risk.
Tell me, how is Corina and Camilla doing? I imagine both are quite angry with me. No matter. Please tell her he heard her. And that he woke from my sleep a few moments to try to answer. I owe her much. She convinced him to stay....for now. He has requested my silence niriah( beloved one). I can tell her nothing.
I will tell you instead. You may speak for me.
He lives, but only barely so. He must remain asleep for at least another day. The attack was brutal and the damage to his body was extensive. How he remained conscious is a wonder. His very soul was torn niriah. I sensed no one here, the wards remain intact. Only Hayan sensed that attack and he too was incapacitated immediately. Miere is at her darkest right now.
I curse myself for leaving him when I sensed his turmoil.
She said they argued. Do not let her believe his condition is her fault. Nor that she was not good enough to know. I was simply trying to protect my warrior. I was ...am enraged still. I heard....the laughter.....so malevolent.
I must hug my children to my bosom. Take the time with young Locke niriah, and hele mai soon.
Sar.
Fin
