(typing noises)
Rey: Dear Cora, I am so sorry that it took me so long to write back again. Things here have definitely NOT settled down. In fact, they just seem to get weirder.
Rey: The good news is, I think the human lady, and anyone else of any kind of authority is much too busy to be concerned with who I am and am not typing to. So here I am, on my favorite couch, typing away. No need to hide under a blanket anymore.
Rey: Oh, so I'm sorry to hear you were feeling under the weather. I hope you're feeling better now and over whatever it was. Uh... and you didn't have to make me a present, but I'm excited to see what it is. I don't have much, you know, from the war and all. And anything you made me would be absolutely precious to me. Uh... yeah, so um... stuff going on here.
Rey: It's almost full moon. I can... well, I can feel it. My tribe were really tied in to the moon. I want to go outside and see it better, but it snowed and it has been bitter, bitter cold. Too cold for outside. So I just stare at her from inside, through the windows.
Rey: I think something pretty terrible might have happened here, but no one is talking about it. There are two of the most threatening fae I have ever seen guarding the door to one of the rooms. I guess whoever lived there... well, I think they got killed. Or maybe they killed each other. I dunno. All I know is that the whole hallway smells of death and blood and no one will talk about what happened, and the two guards won't let anyone near the door. It's so sad to think that someone was killed, but I really do wish I knew more about it. I hate not knowing things. It makes me twitchy. I don't know why.
Rey: Where I'm from, we didn't have a lot of "stuffies", but they're all over the place here. It's been weird to adapt to. But there's a really nice one who's been reading to the refugee children every night. He's opened up his whole library to us, which is REALLY nice of him.
Rey: He's got a lot of them, and I picked one out that really interested me. If I'm not on the computer doing stuff, I'm probably back in my "spot" on the couch reading.
Rey: It's amazing how dedicated to study you can become when it's a subject you're really interested in. Uh, so anyway...
Rey: I really am sorry that it took me so long to finally write back. But seriously, I don't think anyone is going to notice, so I should be able to write more.
Rey: Maybe I'll even come up with something interesting to say next time.
Rey: I just need to have an adventure or something. Find something interesting to do to tell you about so I'm not just some boring loser you're talking to on the internet.
Rey: I guess there might be other people who want me to write to them too, but I gotta make time to write to you first. Though, uh... I'm open to writing to anyone. I'm glad you started this, because I've really enjoyed getting the chance to make friends on the internet.
Rey: But what's the point of friends on the internet if you've got nothing interesting to tell them? I gotta find something to make myself interesting, intriguing. Someone that people will want to hear about. But what?
Rey: Hmm... well, only one way to find out. Takin a look around and finding something interesting. I'd go look outside if I wasn't going to freeze my butt off doing it. Hmm. Well, good night, sweet Cora, and I hope to hear from you soon!!
