I
just heard the news! Oh Cora, I'm SO happy for you! If you need
anything, let me know. I think I am about to embark on something very
similar. Not as unplanned as your event (and it hasn't even happened
yet, either) but I've been told that in order to keep something called
the "monolineal descent" going, I have to have a child also, by a very
unusual father... but that's not important now. What IS important is you
and your little one.
You do need to rest more, and eat well.
Good wholesome food. In moderation, too. The whole "eating for two"
concept doesn't necessarily mean eating two portions. It does mean
eating twice as healthy.
By the way, how long have you been at
The Manor? after all, it may very well be that the father is someone you
were with before you lost your memory. That could be scary. That is
what happened to Dorian's and my own mother, who lost her mind the day
after our father "gave us to her" so to speak. The last time I visited
her in the hospital, I asked her if she remembered Swan, our dad. She
didn't. In fact she doesn't remember that I am her daughter or Dorian,
her son.
So the possibilities of fatherhood extend quite a large
circle. But with someone as sweet and gentle as you are, the baby is
assured of a wonderful mother. I'll keep you in my heart, dear Cora, and
will write again once my band comes off touring.
Your friend
Phoenix Renee Swan
