Xerxes reaches out his hand, letting his fingers slip along hers for a moment~ Does it hurt?
Purgatory: not as bad as a few days ago....I left Locke a message....letting him know I was alright...
Xeres: thats good....we dont want him to be worrying about you...
Jani comes in to join them: Guess what! Theres a package....for Purgatory! ~giggling~
Jani: i think its from Leandra...your new friend?
Pugatory: Oh! Oh! for me! ~starts to open it excitedly~
Purgatory: Oh...paper...oh how i love you!
Xerxes: Hey...P...thats just...part of it i think...maybe to protect it?
Jani: Look inside the envelope silly!
Purgatory: its...got my name on it...
Xerxes: its especially just for you...
Purgatory: my own present....
Purgatory unwraps the paper, being gentle with it, and soon she finds inside a beautiful knitted wrap that sparkles~
P: Oh.....its so pretty...
Purgatory slips her hands under it, wrapping it around herself~
Purgatory: what do you think?Its nice and warm...
Xerxes: its perfect on you...
Purgatory: this was so sweet of her....i will treasure it.....so very much...
Later...
After much of the holiday excitement and food, Jani has fallen asleep with Xerxes and
Purgatory on the couch, snuggled against P~
Purgatory: Have you spoken to him...he seemed....upset with you...did you two have
a fight?
Purgatory moves Jani to use X as a pillow, but is careful not to wake her as she does~
X: No...not yet....I just....i need some space...
Purgatory stands up, looking at him, starting to leave the room~
I know you havent been sleeping...and when you have....you've been talking in your
sleep...dont be distant too long....its not good for either one of you...
