((The technology gods have been completely
against me today... the internet is fritzy and as soon as something
almost gets done, my computer randomly shuts it's freaking self off. I
am uploading so many photos... there are two new years stories.. this
one and another. Then it's the birth of the baby. Please hang in there
and bear with me.. this has been alot of work!!))
Niko: *looks particularly drunk this evening* Ot duschi!!
Eden: *runs in, pouncing Niko* Niko~~~!!
Eden: *sniffs him* You got started without me…! We are supposed to be getting drunk together!
Niko: You is late! In home country, we are starting early morning time!
Eden: *pulls back in surprise, a dark look crossing her face* Your English… what happened to it.
Niko: What is this? What wrong with the way I of speaking to you? English.. it run away.
Eden: Damnit Niko!! I spent so much time teaching you to talk properly and as soon as you head back to Russia for a while it all escapes you!!
Niko: *pushes Eden over against the cushion, nibbling at her neck* Be quiet, woman. Let have happy new year <3
Eden: Grrr!! *protests but only a little*
Cora: *runs in, her arms flying around Luis whom she hasn’t seen in months* Luis!!!
Luis: *face falls, looking guilty* Cora…
Cora: *hugs Luis tight* I missed you Luis.. I am glad to see you well.
Luis: *hugs her back sighing* I am sorry Cora…
Cora: *smiles* You don’t have to apologize Luis.. I understand
Locke: *sits down in a chair, looking more cross then usual*
Purgatory: *suddenly rushes in, running to Locke, jumping in his lap* Locke!!
Locke: *softens as Purgatory comes into his arms, holding her tightly
Purgatory: *nuzzles Locke’s neck, so glad to see him after the recent conflict going on between her and X* I missed you so much…
Locke: *pets her* You have been very good, cherished one… I am pleased to see you…
Locke: *strokes her cheek with his fingers, looking at her* My sweet one.. I have not forgotten your reward…
Purgatory: My reward is you!! *giggles and clings to him, before kissing him on the cheek and walking off to see the others*
Xerxes: *wanders in very somber looking, a guilty expression on his face, his eyes lowered*
Locke: *in a very serious tone* Xerxes...
Locke: *holds out his hand to him* Come to me…
Xerxes: *walks over to Locke, lowering to his knees and settling his head in Locke’s lap, whimpering*
Locke: *strokes X’s shoulders and hair, speaking quietly* X.. I am very upset with you… I will be speaking to you about your transgressions later…
Xerxes: *whimpers some more*
Locke: For now… you have a guest to attend to.
Sin: Xerxes…
X: *jumps up in surprise to see his friend standing there, squeeing* Oh my god!! *runs over and hugs Sin*
Sin: *chuckles* I’m glad to see you as well…
Vaieh: *appears next to Sin* Hello Xerxes.
Xerxes: *eyes narrow as he sees Vaieh appear, his lips pursing into a pouty scowl*....
Vaieh: *walks over towards where Locke is sitting* I see you’ve decided to come out of your room and rejoin society today..
Locke: Be silent… I still haven’t decided what to do about you yet.
Locke: *watches as Vaieh giggles and walks away from him to join Cora on the other side of the room, muttering* Infernal woman….
Pegasus: *is completely trashed but contemplative* Hmmm…
Croquet: *silently watching everyone else*
Cora: *plops down next to Pegasus* Are you having fun?
Pegasus: *slurring* Oh yes… I am having a FABULOUS time…
Pegasus: *almost falls off his seat* I’m surrounded by wonderful people and wonderful wine~
Cora: Wow… you’re really drunk.
Pegasus: *still slurring, very indignant* I’ll have you know that over the years I have drank much wine in many different parts of the world!! I have a very large tolerance!! I am not drunk!
Cora: *looks over at Niko and Eden who are drunkenly giggling* I think everyone is very drunk…
Cora: At least everyone is having a good time then <3 New Years Eve… I wonder where V is…
Cora: *in the hallway, walking up to V* Are you having a good time tonight?
V: I’m not drunk enough yet to give you a good answer…
Cora: You guys are so silly! V… I was wondering… I know it’s tradition to have someone to kiss at midnight… I was wondering… *blushes a little* If.. if you would kiss me for New Years…
V: *moves his hands to Cora’s face, hesitating*
V: I’m sorry Cora… I can’t…
Cora: *smiles* It’s okay.. can you please just leave your hands there for a minute?
Cora: *thinking* I can just pretend…
Around Midnight…
Cora: She’s been really quiet lately…
Sin: *rubs Cora’s belly* So it seems…
Cora: I haven’t been feeling very well this evening...
Sin: What is the matter?
Cora: *sighs* Just baby stuff… and… other things…
Sin: I will listen to you if you wish to voice your concerns.
Cora: Oh.. it’s almost midnight… and I am just sad because it’s my first New Year’s that I can remember… everyone else seems to be celebrating but I have no one to celebrate a certain tradition with…
Sin: *puts his fingers under Cora’ chin, lifting it* Do you mean this one?
Sin: *moves in closer to Cora, pressing his lips against hers*
Cora: *turns bright red but doesn’t pull away*
Cora: *laughs embarrassedly* Thank you.
Sin: *gives her a kiss on the head* Now you don’t have to feel left out little one.
Vaieh: Well.. you called me out into the hallway… I think it's safe to presume that you have figured out what to do with me?
Locke: *is silent for a minute* That ribbon… I want to see it in my bedroom at once.
