((a "nihal" is the Gaerean word for "father". If
you will recall, at the beginning of Cora's pregnancy alot of men from
Siar's Lair claimed fatherhood on her child. Bhudo, to whom Cora is
writing right now, and Sin who is visiting Xerxes at the apartment in
the city, happen to be two of them... slight boobage in this one))
Cora: Hi Bhudo! I really hope you don't mind me messaging you so late... I just remembered that I was asked to do something for Vaieh and then I forgot.. and then I remembered again right as I was getting to bed. To be honest.. I should be messaging Iram.. but I am a little intimidated by him, I am much more comfortable talking to you.
Cora: In short, Vaieh was sent on a job today to a questionable client and it went very poorly. Apparently she punched him.. and Locke did too.. and now Locke is going to ruin him? How exactly does one ruin someone?
Cami: *sounding very cross* Mama! It is time for bed. I am tired, so let's sleep now.
Cora: Hold on a second sweetie.. I am talking to one of your nihals. Behave yourself.
Cami: Hmph!! I am tired!!
Cami: You can at least get ready for bed while you are talking to him. That way I don't have to wait any longer then I have to. Learn to multitask!!
Cora: Allright sweetheart, just be quiet for a while allright?
Cora: *kneels down, getting into her small dresser and fishing around for a nightshirt* In any case... Vaieh was very angry, and I offered to let Iram know for her.... I really hope you don't mind me asking this favor of you.
Cora: *finds a shirt and sits back on the bed with it* But anyway.. how have you been? We have enjoyed having Vaieh here very much. Someday I hope to see all of you. It was also nice seeing Sin again. But now that they are here, I miss sending messages to The Lair! I hope you don't find me presumptuous in writing to you. After Vaieh you are the person at The Lair I have spoken to the most.
Cami: Mama!! Hurry up!!
Cora: *begins to pull off her dress* Allright! Allright!! I'm hurrying!
Cora: She is not normally so pushy.... I think has been staying up too late lately.
Cora: *gets her dress off and holds it in her hand* I should keep a better eye on her.. I hope you don't think I'm being a horrible mother because of it. I do try hard.
Cora: *tosses her shirt onto the top of where Witten is sleeping in her laundry basket*
Cora: Witten is currently in hibernation mode... it is very lonely without him around, but I think it is necessary for his health. I can't wait until it gets warmer and he can be up again. He is a great babysitter when I need him to keep an eye on Cami... he loves her very much.
Cora: It makes me happy that my daughter is so cherished by everyone... I am glad that she will have just as many friends as I do! It's very important to me..
Cora: My friends are very important to me.. without them I would be very lonely, that means you too Bhudo.
Cami: *begins to grow more and more impatient* Grrrr...
Cami: *crawls down the bed* ...........
Cora: *leans back on her hands, still talking* Things around here have been pretty peaceful... Vaieh is keeping Locke in a much better mood then he usually is. With Locke in a decent mood, it's very peaceful.
Cami: *reaches out, unhooking Cora's bra*
Cami: *yanks her bra off* Mama!! Put your on your pj's and let's GO TO BED!! NOW!!!!! I command it!!!
Cora: *scolds, barely covering herself, though not seemingly as embarassed about her missing bra, more embarassed by Cami's behavior* Camilla Rose!! You do not speak to your mother like that!! I am coming straight to bed, you are embarassing me with your rude behavior!
Cami: Hmph!!! *heads back to cover up*
Cora: *begins to put her shirt on* I'm sorry.. you must think I am raising her terribly. Really, I think she has been staying up too late.. she can be marvellously sweet.. and I think Locke is a bad influence on her...
Cora: I'm sorry I can't talk any longer... I need to do as she asks before she embarasses herself anymore. I really hope to hear back from you soon, please send my love to everyone else there at The Lair <3 Byebye!!
