Cora: *ignores Locke and Eden bickering in the background* Dru what happened to your hand?
Dru: I noticed your gate was broken so I went ahead and fixed it for you. I somehow managed to cut my fingers in the process, however.
Cora: Oh Dru... come here and let me bandage it up for you at least.
Cami: *closes her book, watching them leave and thinking* I had better not leave those two alone for too long...

Dru: I thank you, Cora. Really it wasn't a big deal, I am happy to report that now your gate is working perfectly well.

Dru: Yes, I can see the other resident man of the house is currently taking a bit of a nap...
Cora: *giggles* Right now Witten is going through a hibernation phase... he gets like this for a few months during the wintertime.. he should be waking up here in a few weeks.

Dru: *reaches out, brushing away a few strands of hair and resting his hand on her cheek* As I said before, I do not flatter. I speak only in honesty... I fear you may count me among those who admire you.

Cami: *falls foward, propping her head in her hand* Someday I will be just as beautiful as my mama and my daddy... I think I look more like my daddy however, I find him a bit more elegant then Mama.

Cami: What is it that they say nowadays? His "milkshake brings all the boys to the yard"? What in the world does that idiotic phrase mean anyway?
Dru: *chuckles heartily* I see much of your mother and your father's beauty in you little one. You will grow to be very magnificent indeed.
Cami: *sits up, leaning into Dru* What's that? You want to be my boyfriend? Very well I will allow you!
Dru: *chuckles more at this, putting his arm around the young girl*
Cora: Cami! How many boyfriends do you need to have? I thought Locke was your boyfriend...
Cami: Well there is Locke... and daddy... and Anael... and now Dru as well. And if you are not careful, Mama I will steal Bhudo from you.
Dru: I am not surprised that Miss Camilla also has many admirers. Who is this chief admirer you speak of? A boyfriend?
Cora: *looks away, blushing* He is... not my boyfriend. Just a very close friend. Someone dear to my heart nonetheless.
