Cora: *holds the rolled up paper with the fern tied around it* ...........
Cora: Well Witten... here goes nothing.
Witten: *looks up curiously from his basket*
Cora: *puts the tied up piece of paper into the flame of the candle, watching it burn*
Cora: My wish is... please protect the ones I love... and me too...
Cora: I don't fear for my own life, just for the happiness of the ones I love... so please... protect us.
Cora: *watches as the rest of the paper and the fern burn up in the flames* ......
Cora: Keya, I've done as you said. I hope that it works. Thank you and the rest of your house for your well-wishes... I really do appreciate it. Please don't worry yourselves too much or wear yourselves out too much on my behalf. I could never live with myself if I caused you pain...
Cora: I fear for Cami always even though I am sure that she is better at taking care of herself then I am most of the time *smiles*. She's very independent and self-sufficient... much more so then I, who am so very dependent on everyone around me. I am glad that her personality allows her to escape that...
Cora: I'm certain that Eden must have a good reason for keeping me here... I trust her. But I know that if I were to go to Pegasus' or to The Lair that I would be safe from whatever reason she is fearful of. Do you think maybe... do you think perhaps you could try to intercede on my behalf and plead my case to Eden?
Cora: I know that it is selfish to ask such a thing... but, there rather is somewhere I really feel I should be at this time... I am hoping perhaps since she will not listen to me.. maybe... she'll listen to someone else.
