Lachlan: It's been a long time since we've talked, Cora. Well, a long time for you, it seems like just a few weeks to me, but I think time must past more swiftly there in the Manor.

Lachlan: I want to congratulate you on your beautiful daughter, Camilla. I can see you in her face, although I confess when she speaks it sounds more like that rude young man Locke. But children do like to mimic, don't they?

Lachlan: We are all doing well here, I have finally convinced Devon to dress a bit less...garish and Tai has been too busy trying to teach Naoki to speak to complain about Luis running away. Truthfully, I think Tai has forgiven him, but misses getting to tease him.

Lachlan: I hope I do not hurt you by saying this, but I am disappointed to see that V has not yet admitted to himself how much he loves you. I truly believe he does Cora, but it is cruel of him to make you wait so long. In this I do not blame Cami for being angry - I think I would be angry too if I were there. It makes me want to sic Tai on him...but I won't do that, I promise.

Lachlan: Oh, and I wanted to let you know there is a package on the way to you. Fortunately the landlady was late sending it, as originally there was a baby gift inside. I have switched that for something more appropriate for a girl Camilla's age. But...I must warn you of one odd thing...

Lachlan: I don't know quite how to say this...but there is a...well...a woman in the box. She is one of the resident Jenny girls and she jumped inside, told me "Master Iago is sending me to Master Witten", then settled down for the journey. I really wonder what our cats have been up to, Cora. Iago will not explain a thing - he just pretends he has suddenly gone deaf when I bring it up. So, I hope you will not mind this unexpected guest.

Lachlan: Well, I best go now, but I send you my love and virtual hugs from Tai, Naoki, Devon, Iago and myself!
