Kai and Bhudo tend to speak with one voice, and as one person when they are together. It's a twin thing they do. Go figure.

KaiBhudo: Corina I understand you're upset. You judge my sister harshly. I understand that too., but you don't know the whole of it.

KaiBhudo: Did you get the whole of it from Locke? Eden? I thought not.

KaiBhudo: We're not human, Corina. Our laws are different. Our women are different.

KaiBhudo: Our.....

Tai'an: I will tell her.

KaiBhudo: What are you doing up? Go back to bed.

Tai'an: Cease your whining. I said I would face her and I will. It is my duty is it not?
KaiBhudo: Dammit Taitai. Go back to bed. You shouldn't even be awa....

Tai'an: ENOUGH! I'm not a baby. Don't call me Taitai. *mutters* Infernal name

Tai'an: Corina. I understand your disappointment and anger, but at this moment I don't care. You barely know me or our laws. Understand this, Vaieh was not tied up and beaten as you have been made to believe. She was challenged to fair combat with wooden swords, and nothing but our natural strength. I just barely proved to be stronger.

Tai'an: On this side of the gates you people arrest and lock up those who attempt to take their own lives do they not? Well, we do not.

Tai'an : Vaieh disobeyed me. I forbade her access to Locke for a good reason. She is very fragile right now. In heat and fighting her soulcall. I cannot let her near a man the is not of our kind right now. You have no idea of the consequences.

Tai'an: Hate me if you will but don't take your rage out on the men of the Lair. Each of them is a king in his own right and has walked these laws since he was but a hatchling. And yet I am responsible for them all.

Tai'an: You abide by Eden's rules mostly, don't you? Why? Do you know why she made them? No, you are not sure are you? Don't you think my people should obey me the same?

Tai'an: Vaieh is like the sister to me. She's precious to me. I have no qualms about sending her home to protect her from anything that would take her from me.

Tai'an: Abandon us if y...*

Si'or: Tai'an sleep

Tai'an: no .....ancus.....
KaiBhudo: Taitai!

Si'or: I'm sorry Corina. Tai'an is very upset. Vaieh came to us after talking to Locke and confessed.

Si'or: Vaieh fights soulcall. She has to answer Corina. It is their lives if they do not.

Si'or: Tai'an loves and trusts Vaieh like no other. So this is even harder for her. Being soft is not somethign we can afford. This punishment was not as harsh as it should have been. Tai'an held back and allowed herself to be hit more than she needed to. She punished herself as well as Vaieh. *softly* I will take her.

Si'or: This is not about Locke, Corina. It is about Vaieh. If she is allowed this impulse, Corina, we will all lose her. Think on this, Corina. Do you really want to lose Vaieh just as you've managed to find her?
