Locke: I am quite surprised... and pleased.. by this strange turn of events. Going behind the back of your Princess to talk to me? Tsk tsk... What a naughty thing to do... normally I don't tolerate such rebellion...

Locke: But needless to say... your rash and somewhat fervant letter has intrigued me greatly... to go to such great lengths to attempt to contact me behind the back of your sovereign? That... might hedge a little on the border of devotion.. and as you surely know by now, devotion is something I value very highly...

Locke: But as you also must surely know.. I value submission just as highly. While I see you ranking high in devotion... submission... is another story all together...

Locke: I am very powerful man, Vaieh.. I posess wealth, I posess power... I am not a man to be trifled with. That bitch of a Princess of yours thinks that she can "tame" me. I will not submit to neither man nor woman...

Locke: You must realize that there is thrill in the hunt... I do not mind a little resistance... but the idea that you will dominate, subdue, or otherwise control me is a ridiculous notion that should be abandoned at the door. I have lost all respect for your bitch Princess... does she honestly think hurling insults at me is the way to break a man? Or threatening his life, or one that he treasures most? I do not tolerate threats to the ones that are in my care.

Locke: I am not a cruel master, Vaieh. Xerxes and Purgatory have willingly subjected themselves to my will... they chose to do so. Whatever idea that you Princess has in her head that she needs to "teach me a lesson" so to speak is outright slanderous. X and Purgatory gave themselves to me of their own free will and obey my wishes because it pleases them to do so... they have entered an agreement with me. If they break the rules of the agreement, naturally I should get angry.

Locke: When they obey, and I'm certain they will attest to this, they are treated accordingly. I am a very generous man, Vaieh.. I reward those who obey lavishly. This is not a harsh arrangement... whatever reason your bitch of a Princess has decided she needs to train me is completely outlandish.

Locke: With that matter of business out of the way.. I can respect a woman who doesn't beat around the bush... since I am the same way I will tell you outright... because you intrigue me so, I am quite willing to listen to what you have said. I will refrain from interfering with with the friendship Sin and Xerxes have... provided that it stays within that realm of "friendship"... in regards to Cora... that is a matter I care not to speak about.

Locke: Vaieh... certain things you have said and done have tantalized me...

Locke: Is this display of yours an offering? I will remind you that I have two others in my keeping... while I am not abject to another.. I'm afraid you'd have to learn to play by my rules. I'm not sure you could handle that.

Locke: You see... in my opinion... it takes a stronger person to submit to the will of another... I have a suspicion that you lack that strength... which is very... very disappointing to me.

Locke: You yourself say it can never be... is that perhaps because you know very well that you will not play by my rules and therefore cannot play in my game? Or is it because of some other reason I wonder.... perhaps that interfering Princess who I have no desire or respect for at all...

Locke: Whatever the case may be... whether or not you chance it to speak to me again I can't know. I know very well that some wishes do not come true.
