Locke: Don't be a fool, X. Why I ever dreamt that you would not drag yourself into this nice little fix is beyond me. I should have had a more realistic view.
Locke: *lower* X.. you of all people would know what kind of tribulation I am going through... I was able to save you... I was able to pull Purgatory from the hell she was facing at great cost... but there is nothing I can do to save Vaieh from what she must do. Both of you were "tainted"... you know this idea means nothing to me....
Locke: Though it pains her, Vaieh must complete this bizarre ritual of her species. There is no comfort I can lend her. You expect me to rush off and offer her communication... I have already given my word that I would not speak with her again until she has completed this and preserved her life. I am a man of my word, X, I will not break it...
Locke: You act as if this does not affect me... I am a jealous man, Xerxes. You know this better then anyone else... but we must do what it takes to survive, even if it disgusts us... for me to feed off the blood of others... and... to have taken blood from an unborn child... *gets a very digusted look on his face*
Locke: For her.. it is sleeping with that dog. I cannot abide the thought of it... but it is better to be alive then to be dead. *softly* My only concern is that she may still care for this man... *gets angry again* And then there will be no point to this madness!!
Locke: I will send word to her once I hear that this wretched deed is finished and that her life is safe.
Locke: Your love and devotion is not fake to me Xerxes... I see it in your very eyes. It is simply that I do not have a heart with which to make any of my own... therefore... I depend on you.
