Rey: Dearest Cora, I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to write back to you. Things here have been kind of weird.
Rey: The nice human lady who took us in, and gave me this laptop, suddenly told me I was spending "too much time on the internet" and didn't want me signing on to the forums anymore. She didn't really say why, but it seemed to bother her that I might write to you.
Rey: So I carefully watched her type her password, borrowed Emi's desk lamp and here I am, hiding out under the covers typing to you. The rest of the Treehouse is all asleep. And I guess your entry was from your bedroom, so this isn't too weird. Please don't laugh at my wizard jammies, though. You should've seen the OTHER ones they had.
Rey: I'm sure she wouldn't mind me writing to you, but she seems worried about something going on in the house. I dunno what. Might be Stormwind's upcoming trial, or it might be all the new fae. Hard to say. But I didn't want to bother her with it. So, uh... what was I going to say?
Rey: Oh yeah! So your kitty, Witten, seems like a nice kitty. I don't have any pets or anything. But I like animals a lot. I'm sorry to hear you don't remember your past. Sometimes, I wish I didn't remember mine. Most of the time I don't remember my dreams, but I'll try to now that you asked what I dream about.
